As though it was that easy.
Have you ever been in so much pain that you think you aren't going to live through it?
That's what giving birth felt like to me. At a later date I would realise that I was actually supposed to die on that day, that it had been my 'destiny', as they put it to me... However, I don't like to linger on the bad, even if ever since I gave birth and denied fate that day, I have been in a tornado filled with dark clouds and whistling winds. I'm serious, that's what they sent in New York. It feels like a lifetime away, both light and dark struggling to get to us first, to control what they call 'The Key' and what I call my daughter.

The first hint that there was something different about my daughter, Alara, was when I went into labour two months early. Surprisingly, my daughter was perfect - the perfect size and shape and not a hair wrong, she was not what the doctors were expecting at all. They wanted to run tests, but I knew what that meant, endless experimenting, and I wasn't about to put my daughter through that. I declined their ridiculous amounts of money and left, taking my baby with me.

Amazing start i cant wait to read more,,,,,,, Awesome job
